Idle Hands Owner, Jaysin Jefferson is a tattoo artist and muralist. He specializes in color, neo-traditional, illustrative video game and anime tattoos. With a background in graphic design and fine arts, he left a career as a union electrician to pursue his first love and passion by opening his tattoo shop in 2012. Jaysin moved his business to the Knoxville, TN area and is available by appointment only.

Gia is a body artist originally from Long Island, NY, who recently made Knoxville her home in 2024. Her artistic journey began with a love for painting and murals since 13 years old. Over the last four years Gia has progressed her skills in various tattoo styles including black and grey, neotraditional, American traditional, blackwork, Japanese traditional and realism. But it’s her passion for fantasy/mystical-themed art that really sparks her creativity.

Outside of work, Gia’s all about outdoor adventures, hanging out with her cats and geeking out over her awesome music collection.

John Moses has lived in the Knoxville area off and on since 2007 – most recently returning in 2020 to begin a career in tattooing. John enjoys working with clients to design custom pieces and is especially interested in ornamental work, floral exploration, riffs on American Traditional, and calligraphy/brushwork. Outside of tattooing John enjoys spending time in nature, creating art, and concocting wild kitchen experiments.
