Idle Hands Tattoo Studio

Idle Hands is a private tattoo studio located in the historic neighborhood of Sequoyah Hills. Just along the Tennessee River, we are convenient to Downtown Knoxville and The University of Tennessee. It is a popular location for walking and hiking, shopping and dining. Some of our neighbors include Soulful Hair Studio, Bear Den Books, Tree Top Coffee Shop, The Plaid Apron and Wildflower Aesthetics. 

At Idle Hands we provide our clients with professional custom tattoo services. You will find our environment to be safe and hospital sterile and the customer service to exceed your expectations.

Consultation

Whether you are looking for something small or a large-scale project we have you covered. Our work is custom designed and scheduled by appointment only. You will meet with an artist in a consultation to go over your ideas, and learn how we can bring your vision to life.

Custom Art

After your consultation, your artist will need some time to draw and refine your ideas. Depending on the scale of the project, this process can take a few days to several weeks for large scale pieces.

Tattoo Session

Our studio is open by appointment only. Once you have had a consultation and approved your custom design, we will schedule your tattoo session. The studio is equipped with two artist stations, a reception/waiting area, and complimentary beverages and snacks.

Jaysin covered up an existing tattoo with a hand-drawn design that, I think, perfectly fits my post-Roe rage tattoo in that he put (what I think looks like) flowery uteruses on my foot. The subtly incorporated middle finger makes me so happy! The other one kept some of the imperfections I wanted to keep but he made it so much better. He was so professional and I enjoyed the conversation with him and Eric. 10/10 would recommended!
